I am not letting my first job decide my future prospects

I do not want my first job to decide my future. So after thinking of many alternatives like Civil services (childhood dream), MBA in ISB (My dad's wish), Microsoft (many of my seniors chosen path) as I was inclined towards Microsoft technologies, I decided to work in technological independent area. As I am interested in algorithms very much, I had an option to choose Google R & D. I do not know how difficult it is, but I think I can do it. People who can guide me or help me in this process are very few and they are Amit (my college friend), ravikiran (my IIIT junior), Pawan K (my IIIT junior), Chandramohan (my cousin).

Today I talked with my dad and shared all the views I had professioanlly . He also adviced me not to look for any onsite chance as it is risky during this period with growing concern over safety

I am desparately waiting myself indulge in an activity where I will lose myself completely. No looking back then onwards.
